B2ST 1st Fan Meeting Asia Tour

At last! The day that I have long awaited for is finally here! B2ST will be holding their 1st Fan Meeting Asia Tour at the Surf Beach in Sunway Lagoon. Too bad it was not a full concert, but it is better than none.

Me and Chris went for dinner before the concert cuz it was set to start at 8.30pm. When we reached the entrance of Sunway Lagoon, we were told that the entrance to the VIP section is at through Sunway Resort. Great....we had to walk back into the mall again -.- While we were going down the escalator, we heard very loud music from the Surf Beach. B2ST had appeared and they were singing 'Special'. OMG! Why are they so early, it was only 8.27pm! D: We quickly rushed down with some Korean fan girls lols.

We bought 2 seats at the 8th row near the centre of the stage. Not too bad. The only obstructions were then fans' handmade boards and the cameraman right in front of the stadium. Hence, most of the pictures I took has the cameraman in it -.- Mum recently bought a new digital camera with 16x zoom :D The pics are very clear even after zooming. But some pics are blur as my hands are shaky when I hold the cam with one hand. Need more practice!!
These dancing group Progression who won the 'Shock' dancing competition were invited on stage to perform 'Shock'. Then B2ST performed 'Shock' right after them. Among the songs performed were Soom, Beautiful, On Rainy Days, Fiction, V.I.U., I Like You More Than Anything and I can't believe they sang 'Oasis' again!! :DD

Jun Hyung was quite cool throughout the whole concert hehe.

The host of the day is quite funny and a little sampat haha. Better than other hosts I have encountered. It was a few more days to DooJoon's birthday so a birthday cake was specially prepared for him. All the fans along with the members sang happy birthday to him. Then the host asked the members 6 randomly picked questions that the fans posted on the website. One of it was very special. A guy asked if B2ST could sing happy birthday to his girlfriend and that the tickets for this concert is her birthday present! Awww...so romantic and LUCKY! Of course, they sang for her as the camera focused on her as well. What an amazing birthday gift for her :)

Yoseob!!

6 lucky fans were randomly picked by all the members via a lucky draw to play games with B2ST. I forgot their names but I remember Charlotte because DooJoon picked her and he kept calling out for her. But his pronunciation of her name sounds something like this: Shar-LOT. Haha cute. And when DongWoon picked the name from the box, he called out 'Come On Baby!!' O.o That drove the fans crazy lols. I gotta say the luckiest girl that day was that girl who was picked by YoSeob!!! T.T How much I wish I was picked instead. He was such a gentleman to her, fanning her with a paper, autographed her board and HUGGED her when they got a high score!!! And he hugged her more than once. That is why I adore him :) I just don't like the girl cuz she took advantage of the situation too ish! Girl...you gotta know your limits ok? Each B2ST member was paired with the selected fans to play a game of bowling on stage. Each pair has to do something before they roll the ball onto the pins. Then each of the fans was given a handphone as a prize but the girl paired with DongWoon who got the highest score got an air cooler. DongWoon autographed on the box before presenting it to her. She got to take a picture with DongWoon as well. Lucky girl. They were all lucky lols. I am so jealous haha.

The concert was absolutely amazing! They wowed us with their amazing vocals, charming charisma, and funny humour. It was indeed a night that will never be forgotten. Please come again :DD

Food review: MOF

I've decided to do some reviews on food or desserts that I have tried. Since I like to try new things, might as well share my thoughts on it :)

I've always meant to try the food at MOF since I saw it at Pavillion but never had the chance. So when I saw this place at Sunway Pyramid I could not forgo this opportunity! :DD

This place sells Japanese food and desserts. As I was browsing through the menu, I realized that MOF stands for Ministry of Food in Singapore. Interesting..hehe

Cold green tea with chocolate drizzle on whipped cream

Like it's name, it is how it is.
Nothing special.
I still prefer the hot green tea lols.

Chicken teriyaki spaghetti

Damn freaking sweet. It may look dry here in the pic, but once you lift the spaghetti up you will see a layer of sweet brown sauce. The chicken is not bad, well marinated. I just don't like the sauce. Besides that, it feels weird to eat spaghetti with watery sauce. I prefer my pasta sauce thick and pasty haha!

Ima (sweet potato) with ice cream and mango puree

This looks special so I decided to give it a try. The 2 brown thing there is fried Ima and fried yam. I quite like the yam, soft and sweet. The Ima was a little hard but still sweet. The taste isn't that special and it is quite pricey too. RM10.00++ if my memory did not fail me.

The pyramid within Sunway Pyramid

Since B2ST's upcoming concert will be held at Sunway Lagoon, I think it would be best to be familiar with the route to Sunway to prevent Chris and I from getting stuck or lost on the concert day. It had been ages since I last went there =/
It's time for a new shopping destination too! Can't believe I never bothered to venture there -.-

Sadly, we missed the turning into NPE so we had to u-turn all the way back to Connaught to reach that exit again. Anyways, the end results was worth it :D Will definitely shop there more often in the future.

Sunway pyramid was so huge! I guess it is what most people will feel when they are in an unfamiliar place. Many people commented how huge Mid Valley or 1 Utama is although it is the exact opposite for me. As a matter of fact, I'm quite bored of Mid Valley but only enjoy it's convenience and the short distance from my place.

As mentioned in this post's title, the place really did give me a feeling of walking inside a pyramid. With it's long stretch of alley and loads of corners, it feels like it might take weeks to venture the entire building. What I dislike about the place is you would have to walk away from the main shopping are to access to some other restaurants at the Oasis Boulevard. I find it very inconvenient. There seems to be a lot of toilets around there as well. Well it's good that they cater to the customers' "needs" lols. Ok this sounds like a review of Sunway Pyramid already haha.

There are many brands and outlets that you can't find in other main shopping complexes. Hence, I am very happy lols :D This place will pretty much satisfy my shopping needs hehe.

We finally get to watch a movie after so long as I was previously preoccupied with assignments. Sadly, I still am. X-Men: First Class finally! Nothing much to say about it except that IT-WAS-AWESOME.
Absolutely love it :DD

And Lucas Till in it? Ok that would be icing on the cake xP

Next is desserts! We decided to try out My Honeymoon Desserts. Quite a lot of choices were offered there. Too bad there wasn't much place left in my stomach then. Still full from Sushi Zanmai and popcorn haha.

Almond milk with black sesame cream
The taste of the almond milk won't be as strong after mixing with the black sesame cream. Good if you don't enjoy the almond's strong smell.

Durian pancake
You can really taste the fresh durian here. But I'd prefer it without the cream and just pure durian in it.

I dunno what u call this in English. But if translated directly from Cantonese it's "kai dan zai"
A new addition to their menu.
I quite like it, mildly sweet and very fragrant.
The balls are soft while the sides are crunchy.

As mum and dad have to attend a wedding dinner, I brought my siblings out for dinner. Lazy to cook haha. We went to pasar malam after dinner and I bought this cute Angry Bird fan! :D The female version though. Pretty bird with a ribbon and long eyelashes ;) Thought it could be useful when I go to concerts hehe.

Dexter me Love

Alas I've finally completed Season 4 and 5 of the Dexter series. I've refrained myself from watching it throughout my 3rd sem as I will not be able to put it down once I've started.

These 2 seasons certainly did not let me down with the intense suspense. Its' really hard not to like Dexter although he kills people. I just love his wittiness and his monologues. They are ever so intriguing haha.

To be honest I don't really have a good impression on Dexter in the very first season. He looks weird. His curly hair makes him look funny and his lips are always so pale =/ Ok, it's still hard not to judge a book by its cover. But I just can't can't stop after a few eps. Now I can't wait for the 6th season :D

To those who are not troubled by blood and does not entirely believe in black and white. I strongly recommend this awesome tv series.

Here's a toast to everybody's favourite blood guy :)

I love February

Good gracious..I think this is the longest break since I last updated my blog. I kinda lack the motivation to blog as I did not take much pictures lately so it'll just be another blab of words.
Oh well..couldn't care less.

So let's get to my current post's title. Yes, I love February for these following reasons:

1. It's Chinese New Year!

The month of angpaus, amazing food and CNY cookies :D
Since I'm not getting any younger, I should appreciate the joy of receiving angpaus haha.

2. Valentine's Day

A special day to celebrate love. Although we don't love each other any less other days, it's a day to make love more special hehe.

We went to Fullhouse at Sunway Giza, Kota Damansara. I wanted try the food there although I heard it's not that great. And it really isn't. I would give it average. But the atmosphere was not bad. At least we tried the place :)
Didn't take pics too as I dun like people watching me when I take pics.
I feel so exposed lols.

3. Mum's birthday

Happy birthday Mum :) Not much pictures though =/

Sth random. Mum was sleeping on the sofa and my dog went up and slept next to her.
So cute! :D

4. Meeting up with friends I haven't seen for a long time.

Here's Iz, Jess and Michelle. We haven't seen each other for quite a while especially Iz. The last time I saw her was actually 2 years ago. That long. Too bad Vee couldn't join us as she's currently studying at Manchester. We used to hang out together back at high school. Argh..nostalgic. I miss the simple life back then.

Harry Potter 7

I've watched the latest installment of Harry Potter last Saturday but I was so busy with my Psych lab report that I did not have time to blog about it.

This time, it's better than the Half-Blood Prince. Same director (David Yates) and writer (Steve Kloves), I have to say that it's not bad this time. Thumbs up :D

I especially like the movie's soundtrack, where it's appropriately matched with the scenes' atmosphere. At the start of the movie when a few characters died, a very sad melody was played. I like it like that ;p

Most of the parts in the book was covered, of cuz omitting several unnecessary details. I think the writer did a moderate job on attempting to explain what is going on, as some of my friends who has not read the book does not really know what was going on.

However, I did not reread the book before I watch this on purpose so I won't be disappointed again. For all the previous movies, I read the book again before I watch and I was always upset when the movie does not follow the book (especially the 5th book). I admit that I have a really high expectation for the movie so it's only natural that I am upset when the movie does not meet my expectations. But of course, everybody's imagination and expectations of the movie is different, so I shall keep my imaginations to myself. Changing the content, however, is unacceptable for me.

Again, the movie is not bad and I certainly will look forward to the second part. As a matter of fact, I am very tempted to reread the book but due to my coming finals, this have to wait until my semester break. Although a year's wait is very long, I believe it will be worthwhile IF the second part is as great as the first one. This time, I hope that the director is able to capture the emotions and somber atmosphere when Harry is about to face his battle with Voldemort.

p/s: For those who has not read the book, try to get some background on the story before watching ;)

Movie Marathon

It's nearing the end of the year and Christmas is approaching. It's time to shower the people you love with gifts and prepare for a new year. What better way to celebrate than to shop? From Christmas sale to the year end sale, all you see is SALE.
At least that is what I see and think. (I admit I'm obsessed....) Oh well..screw it x)

Since it's a public holiday, I'm not gonna just sit and rot at home. So there I was at Mid Valley with Chris. Boy, was the place packed D: We decided to go for a movie marathon. 2 movies for a start. Harry Potter was booked by Godknowswhothehellaresoparanoid all the way from 11am to I did not bother to check. So we watched "Let Me In" and "Megamind" :D

This is so dark yet beautiful. Great movie. Nothing like Twilight. No offense, I love the Twilight series. Vampires are just portrayed like their stereotypes here, but with the true gore and action. It's beautiful to me because the main theme for this movie is the friendship between the boy and the vampire girl. I shall say no more. Watch!

Megamind is awesomely crazy hilarious. I initially had a negative perception for this movie because of the blue headed character. A blue head is really ridiculous. Even the hero looks ugly. Sorry Brad Pitt. Yes, I am bias towards pretty characters haha :p The jokes are pure and creative. Definitely better than cheap sex jokes -.-

After the movie we had lunch at Delicious. I tried their Mama Beef Bolognese. I'm taking a break out of Carbonara. Gotta watch my weight. The Bolognese sauce is a little sweet for my liking. I prefer it to be a little sour, since it's tomato based.

The best thing of all is that Charles and Keith is having SALES!! Muahaha. Most of the items are discounted up to 50%. The place was flooded of course. Scary... I bought a handbag for less than RM100. Woots *happy* The heels are intimidatingly high. Don't really have the guts to wear those yet. I'll go steady on platform heels first ;)

Walking more often is something you cannot avoid if you're having classes at Wisma and KPD. I'm tired of the ankle-cutting-ballet flats and the easily-soaked-sandals. It's time to invest in a good pair of shoes. Skechers has this ballet flats-like shoes, but with a thicker rubber sole. Comfy :D I bought a glittery white pair :)

Next stop: Fahrenheit 88 ;)

The Past

I miss the days when I would sit in front of the tv before 8pm, waiting for the current TVB show to air.
Those are the days before Astro On Demand was introduced and before I started downloading movies and tv series online. Astro was my main source of tv entertainment.

Now when I've started college, less time is spent on tv =/
I prefer watching movies on my laptop as I have the control on what and when I want to watch :)

I wanna rant.

My life is a routine of college classes, assignments and studying that I have neglected myself.
I didn't bother to pamper myself and ended up stressed beyond my limits.
Hopefully joining the gym would reinforce my commitment to exercise and relax myself.

Liese Bubble Hair Colour

I was combing my hair and I thought to myself that it looks freaking ugly. My roots are black due to my new grown hair but the ends are brown. Weird D: (I had this thought in my head a long time ago)

Then I decided to try the heavily publicized Liese Bubble Hair Colour dye. As the name suggests, instead of using the traditional sticky paste to dye your hair, you can now use foam!
So it kinda works like a shampoo.

I love the Japs for their creativity and innovativeness *thumbs up* :D

This new method of hair dying makes it very easy and convenient fore newbies and if you want to do it by yourself.

As for the range of colours available, Malaysia, as always, has a very limited range. You can check out the colours available here.

I've considered Mocha Orange and Glossy Brown but opted for Glossy Brown in the end. I guess brown flatters my skin tone better.

So ta-da! Glossy Brown :D

However, to make this product work, you have to be very careful in what you do. Read the instructions very carefully and do exactly as told.

Here is a helpful video to guide you through if you prefer something visual.

Overall, this product is quite easy to use and the results are great! Even coloured hair :D

However, since Glossy Brown is a darker shade of brown and I have naturally dark hair so the colour isn't THAT VERY obvious haha :p

But at least I don't have half black and half brown hair anymore :D

I would definitely recommend this product :)

D: Oops..I've abandoned my blog again =x
I have been busy since my 2nd sem started and due to my hectic schedule.
Man..8am classes are really taking a toll on me.

If I have 8am classes, I usually:

Leave the house at 6.30am
MUST reach college before 7.30am or i'll be stuck outside queuing into the parking lot.
Squeeze through the mass of people to get into the bus to another building where my classes are.
Oh, and don't bother to queue. Malaysian's don't queue.
Alas, reaches class and starts yawning the whole day =/

After this semester, I shall update my blog more often :)

p/s: I wanna go to the JYJ fan meeting session. RM800 to take pics with them? O.O With 1o fans as well...this is seriously daylight robbery. Have mercy on poor people like me.

Adam Lambert? So weird that the concert is on a weekday. Or else I might consider. Quite curious on how is he gonna dance, what he is gonna wear etc ;)

Love in Disguise

On Tuesday, me and Chris went to watch Love in Disguise at Cineleisure. Man, the place was quite deserted. I still prefer GSC haha :D

The movie was okay. The romance and plot was rather cliche but there's a touch of humour. Although new at directing, I'd say Leehom made quite a good attempt for this movie. From singing to composing to acting and now directing, he has came far. His courage to explore his ability and talents is much admired :)

Another thing that I like about this movie is that he has incorporated most of his songs from his new album, The 18 Martial Arts, into this movie. Not only we can get a preview to his new album, it is obvious that there is a relation between his songs and the movie.

Apart from the fictional story in the movie, I think Leehom is also trying to convey a message to the audience that as Chinese, we should appreciate our culture and attempt to not let it fade with time. In this case, it is traditional Chinese musical instruments. Many can play the piano, violin, guitar, drums and so on. But how many of us can play the guzheng, er hu and pi pa? The younger generations had shun traditional instruments aside, leaving very few who are able to carry on the culture. Perhaps Leehom is trying to remind us to embrace our culture and plant the seed of interest in hearts of the younger generations.

Oh, and did I mention the theme song for this movie is awesome? :D

What else better to do during the holidays than to relax? For me, one of the ways I relax is by watching dramas as I don’t have the chance to do so when I’m busy on the front line at war with assignments and exams. I’m currently watching ‘1 Litre of Tears’. I know, I know. I’m so far behind everyone. Even Chris exclaimed: ”Omg, you haven’t watched 1 Litre of Tears?” Almost everyone who has watched this drama said it’s a really heartfelt drama. Exactly as the title says.

So here I am, sniffing and sobbing all over while watching. Not to mention that my monthly ‘good friend’ – meet Miss PMS- gave a little extra ‘boost’ to my emotional state. Blardy hormones =.=

Another thing that I should keep in mind is not to watch too many episodes of this kind of dramas in a day. It really screws up your emotions. You don’t wanna end up lying lifelessly on a bed of tissues with a blocked nose.

Besides the crying and my uncontrollable hormones, the drama is really good.

It reminds us to be grateful of our lives. That good health is a bliss. Carpe diem. And even if you are dying tomorrow, be optimistic :)

A Note of Love

I've never seen him like this before. His brows furrowing, eyes concentrating on the math equation he is trying to solve. He has been putting a lot of effort lately for his upcoming finals, something he has not done before. Seeing him like this, it makes me proud. Of him giving his best shot and not giving up hope. Somehow, I am secretly pleased as well that he has changed so much for me, for him, to be a better person.

Being an avid reader since I was a kid, I have had my fair share of romantic novels. Most authors like to capture the reader's heart (especially women) with the power of love. How a woman can change a man...how a man can change for the woman he loves. I was touched, of course, but I doubt it's probability will be high. As far as I am concerned at that time, love isn't something that could last forever, nor will it's power be that great. I was quite a skeptical person, believing that I am an ordinary person who lives a normal life. Therefore, I do not believe that I have this extraordinary power to change a man. This is only reserved for the people in fairy tales.

Everything changed when I met him, even my views. Now, I truly believe the power of love, and that even an ordinary person deserves to be loved. As for the ability to change, he has proven to me that a man is capable of changing for the better, for the woman he loves.

The last time I updated my blog was May, about 2 months ago D:
So I've completed my first semester in Psychology degree in these 2 months. I have to say, even it was a short sem and everything was compressed to 7 weeks only, there wasn't much stress, which of cuz, is a good thing.
So far so good, except that I got quite low marks for my group assignment =(
The lecturer is extremely "generous" in giving marks. I'm not making an attribution here, but this is what I heard from the seniors. Tenacity =p

One of the reason I'm blogging, especially at this hour is because I CAN'T SLEEP! -.-
I tossed and turned around my bed trying to sleep but eventually gave up. Better do something than nothing at all. I have no idea why, but I have this bugging feeling inside me. It's as if there is something important that I forgot or am curious about. But I don't know what it is! Ish!

Met Jerica unni at Hau Kee Restaurant today. What a coincidence! I miss her and all the Damarians =( Hopefully we can all gather soon ^^

And oh yea, I have cravings for Korean food today =p

Sem break coming to an end

Time flies. And yes..everyone knows that.

My sem break's duration is just nice. Not too long and not too short.
I've rested well enough and restored my energy lost during the battle with assignments and the finals earlier.
Well, I can't say I had enough sleep during the break because I was immersing myself with episodes of Heroes and outings and shopping. Very relaxed indeed.
Not to mention I've spent waaaay too much. But still happy and satisfied =D

One more week plus to go and hell starts. On the bright side I'm a UNIVERSITY student now.
Sounds good, but not that great haha.

This month's obsession: skinny jeans

I'm obsessed with skinny jeans lately. Or straight cut jeans.
They just fit the legs so beautifully, don't you think so? :D
It's great if you have shapely and long legs. But if you don't, so what?
Confidence matters the most.
Wear them with confidence! =)

Even the celebs love them :D

I feel that I'm overspending on shopping lately. Is it turning to an addiction?
Do I need help?

Gosh, I haven't sing in a karaoke for ages! D:
I miss it so much, especially my friends. Haven't seen for so looong.
Four of us went: Me, Vee Vien, Jerica unni and Mei Yan. Ee Von didnt turn up as she forgot lols.

Oh well, next time! :D

We had a great time there, I hate it that I always end up feeling it's not enough of singing. I need at least 5 hours! XD

After the karaoke session, we went for Korean food for dinner. Hmm..not so nice. I prefer the korean food in Korean Village so much better. One day? X)

Desserts! Unni and Mei Yan went for ice cream in New Zealand Natural. Me and Vee was too full to have some.

Then Vee fetched me home. Bleahhh..so tired out. I've been going out for 3 days straight.

Now back to watching Heroes! So addicted X)

Ok the title says it all. I went for a shopping spree with Vee Vien today at 1 Utama.

And I can't stop buying T.T

Shoot..I spent waaaay over my budget today -.-

Let's talk about the good things =D

We went to Garden for lunch. They have set lunches for only RM17.90 so it's quite cheap.

The set comes with a soup of the day. (I'll talk about the soup later on)

A main course. (We chose spaghetti carbonara)

and a drink! (Choice of ice lemon tea or coffee)

When we settled down on our table, a waiter gave us our menu and introduced the set lunch. Then he said somethinng really WEIRD.

"bjfhrheroerneheojerjeosoupofthedaynskjjsjsjtorrontosoup"

I can only make out the words in red. WHAT?? Torronto soup??? LOL.

I only nodded and raised an eyebrow at Vee. She told me it's Tomato Soup. Ohhhh....tomato soup XD

Along came another waitress and she took our orders. Everthing went smoothly until she enquired our choice of drinks.

I ordered ice lemon tea while Vee ordered coffee. Then the waitress asked:

"Miss, you want the watch coffee or black coffee?"

Watch coffee? Is it some special coffee brewed by them? But then we figured out it's WHITE coffee.

Hrms..they're probably foreign workers. Hence, the accent.

I really like the atmoshpere it creates. It really gives you the feeling that you're having tea in a garden. Except for the bushes and flowers are fake XD

The food is great. Especially the spaghetti. Comparable to Italiannies'. But Garden use more garlic in the sauce so it's more fragrant. I like!

The cheese and cream was so rich that I it's too filling. We both didn't manage to finish =x

Dan Brown's The Lost Symbol OMG! I've wanted this book since it was released.
But it's kinda too expensive. Almost a 100 bucks since it's hardcover D:
So I thought of waiting fot the softcover version.
Now I'll have something to read during the holidays.
Dan's books are so captivating that I could spend almost the whole day reading. I just can't put it down.
He's one of my favourite authors :D

Nokia X6 muacks!

Finally! Since I can't wait until my finals are over, I begged my mum to bring me to Low Yat to buy my new handphone. The Nokia X6 :DD

I bought the 16GB version since 32GB is kinda too much. It's cheaper too X)
But they only have pink and white. I was initially looking for blue and white, but pink will do :)

While I was enquiring about the phone. My dad went over to another shop and enquired about the blackberry. Suddenly my dad called me over and announced that he wants to buy a blackberry. Since he is buying, I might as well buy from the same shop to get a rebate. Okayy.. The salesperson from the previous shop kept staring at us while we were enquring about the phone. Oops sorry.

Then my mum started enquiring on other phones. In the end, she bought a Nokia 5530 express music. -.-

The main purpose of going to Low Yat was for me to buy my handphone and for my bro to buy a monitor and keyboard. We end up with 3 sets of handphone LOL.

I really like this phone. The capacitive touch screen gives a very smooth touch. That's good enough for me. I didn't have the time to explore the phone much since I have to study for Psychology. But I can't deny that I did explore a bit. I was distracted =x

Okay, I have been mia for quite a while. This is due to the very misunfortunate timing that the lightning decides to struck my house telephone line (something like that). Hence, NO INTERNET CONNECTION. But it did not affect me much as I am busy lately.

So...I went for the leadership camp held by my college on the 19th-21st of May. And when I came back, that's when the lighting occured -.-

No biggie at that moment cuz I was rushing for all the assignments. Almost ALL in ONE WEEK D:
Then I gotta prepare for finals and here I am in the middle of my finals. So I don't find a point in posting about the camp anymore. The absence of pics will make it boring. But all in all I had a lot of fun especially in white water rafting and the high rope elements. After this experience, I've discovered a lot of things about myself, especially my interest towards wall climbing. I'm SO gonna try it this holiday :D

Woots! Statistics and Moral DONE! Now I'm left with Psychology and Business.

This is my first time watching a movie in 3D. Alice in Wonderland seems intriguing with the touch of Tim Burton and the amazing Johnny Depp. I love Johnny Depp! =D

Since it's 3D. We HAVE to wear this weird pair of black Ah Beng glasses throughout the whole movie. And oh my...the glasses are so heavy. My head hurts after the movie and I feel so tired since the movie starts at 9.30pm. (Had been ironing clothes for the whole day earlier)

I compared the movie with and without the glasses. The picture looks a little blur without the glasses on. With the glasses, they are much clearer and the characters are more distinct from the baackground, making it more 3D-like.

I said it already but I wanna say it again. I love Johnny Depp. Only he can truly portray the character of the Mad Hatter.

Watch out ladies! This is the latest trend in eyeshadow makeup now XD

Anne Hathaway looks so goth in this movie.
And over feminine with her "queen" gestures. Hmms...

To me, the movie will be better if there are subs. What to do. I'm TOO USED to subs D:

Many things had happened lately, especially lately. Bad, unfortnate, depressing and disappointing things. Will it ever stop? I don't think I can handle it anymore. I'm exhausted and so stressed. Cut me some slack.

Right now, I just can't wait to finish all my assignments and my final exam. I just wanna end my foundation fast. Hopefully my degree years would be better. A new beginning.
There are definitely a lot things that I would want to forget in my foundation year.

HMC has been an ass to me. Why do they always come up with crazy arrangements that we have to follow? It's even worse than following school rules. We pay a bloody huge sum of money and in return what do we get? Unsatisfied time slots for classes and a camp that you don't like. We have the right to choose the time that we like and the camp that we want. If the classes and camp is provided free, I will accept it and be grateful. But no, I pay and I don't get what I want. Some students actually have to stay back for one sem for one freaking subject just because HMC DOES NOT HAVE ENOUGH CLASSES. What rubbish.

Thinking of my current emotional state, the rising cases of smoking and drug abuse came to my mind. One of the main reasons people smoke and take drugs is to escape from their problems in life temporarily. They are strong enough to not commit suicide but still want to escape from their problems.
Sure they know it only lasts for a while and they will succumb to addiction. But as long as they can stop thinking about their problems for just five minutes, they'll do it. I feel the exact same way. I think about my problems a lot, end up stressed out and I hate it. I can't even concentrate when I'm driving. I probably should stop driving for a while. What I can only do is to distract myself by doing other things. Do house chores, study, or go online. But I end up more tired and affects my performance. I guess smoking and taking drugs are another ways of distracting a person, only much faster. If there is another way like this that is not harmless, I guess I would do it too.

The world is filled with hypocrites. You may walk past them on the streets or are surrounded by them. I know I am one occasionally myself to a friend of mine. But more of like not telling the person that I dislike her. Some people just say it out when they dislike something. But not me. I just don't. I dislike conflicts and would avoid arising one if I can. I try to be nice to her as I know a person can't be 100% bad. Therefore, we are friends. But not close friends. These people, they smile and laugh with you like buddies, but they stab you in the back in front of others. Worse of all, they gossip and complain about others in front of you, but act like they are the buddies of the others in front of them. I find it very fake. I'm also tired of trying to smile in front of her anymore.

For now, I don't know who are being genuine or who are fake anymore. A smile may be deceiving. I don't know what the person is thinking behind their smiles. I guess I don't wanna know cuz the truth hurts right? Although it has been hard for me lately, I'm still relieved that I have my family, some really true friends and him by my side. They are the few people that I can count on and I love them so much.

Oh yea, I have my blog too. This is the place that I can pour out the contents of my heart and mind when I feel like it. Somehow, I just feel a little better after doing so.

After Psychology class I went straight to I Utama with my sister and Vee Vien to do our last minute shopping.
The place was quite deserted today.
Perhaps most people are done with their last minute shopping or had went back to their hometowns.
Oh well, good for me then! =D

Finally found a pair of skinny jeans that I like from Forever 21.
Although I wanted black, but they only have it in navy blue. Suits me too =)

Next, a comfy pair of white flats from Cotton On. Nice! =p
I can pair it with my new skinny jeans =D

I find this shorts from F.O.S. kinda cute. Especially the printing on the butt XD
It's 100% cotton so it's really comfy.

I've changed my bedsheet as well. I guess this new one is for CNY and Valentine's Day =p

But watching it with him makes it all sweeter and beautiful =)

1st day in 3rd sem

I didn't know first days can be a disaster and so...boring.

I was late for my first class (Business Principles) due to the terrible traffic.
Thank God the lecturer wasn't that strict about it.
I have to admit, I had a hard time keeping my mind focused in class as well.
Hopefully Business won't be so bad for me.
Worse of all, he wants us to introduce ourselves in front of the class.
Not that I still have problems with it, just don't ask me to talk about what interests me.

Cuz I'm just an average girl. I like what most girls like. Nothing much to talk about.
I'm okay with sports, but I don't excel in it.
I score average grades, but I'm not the kind that score really AWESOME grades. So nothing to brag about either.
In conclusion, very very average.
Although Bella says that she is an average girl too, but hey, she has a handsome vampire as a boyfriend, and turns into a strikingly beautiful vampire in the end.
Not only that, at least her mind is out of bounds from other vampires.
Edward couldn't listen to her thoughts. That is something.

Later, I managed to meet up with Vee for a while before she heads off to Wisma for her class.

Psychology class was okay. I got Miss Selena as my lecturer.
I would be in deep sh*t if I were to doze off in pyschology class.

Moral Studies was the worse ever. Freaking cold theatrette and then somehow I just feel so darn bored. Hopefully I'll be able to survive the 14 dreadful weeks D:
The uncomfortableness oF my stomach didnt exactly enlighten my mood either.

By the time I enter Statistics class, I was already kinda half dead. All I want is to go home and take a shower.
The lecturer went full speed ahead briefing about the topics and scribbling familiar yet forgotten formulas on the whiteboard.
Crap! I've forgotten all these. Gotta dig out my reference books later.
Then she gave us pop quiz. Oh, she was very honest with us.
She tols us that the we won't be able to do the questions since we haven't learnt it.
What's the point of doing it then? -.-
She was right. Out of 30, I think I can only answer 4 - 5 questions. Gah!

However, there were of course, some fun and happy moments.

Sem 2 break ends today

Today! The last day of my 2nd sem break. So classes start tomorrow.
I'm kinda thankful that I don't have to go back to college today.
Cuz it's the first day of school and the traffic, of course, will be terrible D:
Hopefully it won't be so bad tomorrow.

I'm taking Statistics, Pyschology, Business and Moral for this semester.
Aiks, seems like quite a heavy load for me.
And Moral....I thought I'm over it after SPM. Well, hello again old friend =.=
My only hope is that Moral would be better than Malaysian Studies cuz it really suck!

The beginning of a new semester.
New classes. New friends. New lecturers. New life ahaha
This sem, I shall not procrastinate anymore =/

Well, I wasn't really satisfied with my results last sem, so I'll have to work harder on my last sem, especially Psychology.

Went to Mid Valley today by the ktm. 1st time taking the ktm ALONE. *Bangga* =p
But ish! I will never want to take it again.
Have to wait so FREAKIN long for the ktm and everyone in it is squeezed like sardins and it STINKS! =/

While I was waiting for the ktm, I received an sms that the results are out D:
Whoa damn fast wei.. I'm like still enjoying my holidays ahaha.

Then I watched Sherlock Holmes with him. hehe..
The movie was not bad, just a bit blur at parts ahaha.

Went out with my cousins as one of them wanna buy a new pair of glasses.
When I passed by The Body Shop, I couldn't help noticing that they are having a sale :D

Each only costs RM15. Woot! =D

Trust me, if you use the products from The Body Shop from head to toe, you'll smell like fruit lol.
It won't be surprising if you are chased around by monkeys ahaha xD

We went swimming later in the evening together with my siblings.
Omgosh, after not swimming for a gazillion years, my strokes all went haywire D:
And wth? Both of my legs went cramp. Ish..I've never gotten cramps before =/

How Ga Eul loves Yi Jung but Yi Jung take her for granted.

Since our class starts at 3.30pm, Miss Chandra suggested us to buy a cake :)
We bought chocolate mud from Secret Recipe. Not bad :D

I feel so bad for doing some things lately :(
Especially to some people...
Sigh..the good thing is that my semester break is around the corner,
so that means I can take this time to think things through, especially what I really want.

I smell fresh, clean fabric.
It feels as if you've just bathe and draped with warm, clean cloth.
Somehow, it just made me feel so warm and comfy :D

Movie reviews

As mentioned before, I've been watching a lot of movies lately. So this is just a random post of what I've watched and what I think of the movies.

1. Kairo

This is the original Japanese version. The English ver is 'Pulse'.
Bleahh..this is like the most boring horror film I've ever watched. Major disappointment. The 2 hours watching this was so torturing that I wished the ghost will just jump out and end the movie =.=
I can't believe this is listed as one of the top 10 Japanese Horror movies.
Not to mention that this movie is very confusing too.
Well, maybe I don't understand the movie well enough to be scared =/

2. 1408

Slightly better than Kairo but still boring. There's suspense but not enough of horror. Minor scares. But I still like John Cusack's acting :)

3. Flightplan

A mystery, thriller movie kind. The main reason I watched this is because I fell in love with Jodie Foster's acting after watching 'Silence of the lambs' and 'Panic Room'. However, I still find it hard to understand her accent. And the subtitles for this DVD sucks. I hate bad subs :(
Anyways, this movie was not bad, although a little boring at the front.

Crap..I'm loosing energy day by day. Seriously, 6 hours of break EVERY WEDNESDAY and sometimes on Thursday is wearing me out. Not fun at all T.T
I can barely open my eyes during Eng class today. And me eyebags! Sad :(
Since I can't study with the noise at the corridor during breaks, I have been spending my time watching movies =D
Gosh, I have been watching a lot of movies lately, thanks to Chris! In a good and bad way la LOL :p
But I'm kinda guilty now, as I still have presentations and assignments to do, not to mention that I have yet to start studying LOL... *strangles self*

Anyways, I was kinda bored during my break today and I chatted with babi Terence. Then he suddenly said wanna come to my college. =.=
I thought he was just joking, mana tau he really came. Unfortunately, he got lost LOL..
But can't blame him, cuz my college area is kinda confusing.

Before this, I was watching Saw 6 with Chris, the suspense is AWESOME. Great Movie =D
Although gross, but I can still handle la. Waiting for SAW 7 and 8 ^^
But these movie has an excessive usage of F words..contaminating my brain lols.
Oh yea, gotta give credit to Chris la..he downloaded all the 6 SAW movies haha
And bcuz Terence was lost, I gotta abandon the movie, go up and look for him. Damn hot and sweaty :(

I duno why, but I feel kinda hot lately. Panas. As if the ac is not working in my coll. Then sometimes I feel freakin cold. =.=

Korean pancake making on a Saturday afternoon

Ok, I made Korean Pancake this afternoon. *Was supposed to study CTS..*

Earlier, mum bought this packet of readymade korean pancake mix from Cold Storage as she wanna try. Yea...she try and I make it =.=

She bought the ingredients which are chives, prawns, and this weird Chiangmai mushrooms O.O Too bad I've chopped it or else I can show how 'weird' it looks lol. Nevertheless, it smells like fried cashewnuts after you stirfried it =d

My mum only left me a message to make the pancake and then left :(
Nevermind...experiment lor =D

So here it goes...
(fuiyoh..like a recipe man xD)

Step 1: Mix water into the flour and stir until it becomes a smooth batter.
I hate this step, it's so tiring to stir the batter :(

Step: 2: Mix the chopped chives and the sliced mushrooms into the batter

Step 3: Fry the onions and prawns.

Step 4: Pour in the batter and let it er...cook

Step 5: Ta-da! :D

2012 review

Ok, so I watched 2012 yesterday at 10.45am. So that means I am one of the first few who get to watch the movie! Wee...

*WARNING. Do NOT read if you have not watched the movie*

The movie was.....ok. Not bad but not up to my expectations. Really, the trailer was awesome but the movie turned out to be quite typical. Well, that is what trailers are for right? =.=

I sat there for 2 1/2 hours and my butt hurt like mad. Transformers 2 was better, at least it was funny.

Besides that, I couldn't help but compare Tsunami and 2012. Tsunami is better in a way that they have more drama and touching moments whereas 2012 focuses more on the events and the end of the world.

I guess I couldn't enjoy the movie much because it was freaking cold in the cinema and too long. It became kinda boring and monotonous. D:

Nonetheless, this is one of the most anticipated movies of the year after Transformers 2. There was quite a number of people lining up at the ticket counters when we just arrived.

Next up:

This appeals me :)

And of course, SO NOT gonna miss this :D

Today was even worse. I guess it is one of the emo-est day of my entire life. I feel so shitty today. Tired and stressed, I haven't slept well and early these few days. And this will not end until this semester is over. Foundation is NOTHING like I ever expected.

For now, I am so exhausted that I only want to sleep.

I've watched 2012 today, maybe I'll post a review about it tomorrow when my mood gets better.

We were told that we will have this impromptu speech in class where the lecturer will let us choose random numbers displayed on the prejection screen. The numbers represent the topic we are gonna present, which is also a random one =.=

What sucks is that we are only given 1 damn minute to prepare. Talk about stress :(
Grrr...I need more time!
So after you randomly think of something to say, then you shall randomly crap some sh*t out in front.

THEN, we were informed this Monday to think of a topic to present today (we can choose whatever we like). After much struggling, I finally came up with an idea:

However, i only managed to list down 13 :(
I did this in an activity during NS before, and I managed to list down 100!! Wth? Must be braindead at the moment @__@

So whatever, I just went out and crapped. Oh ya, some other students talked about 2012 and the end of the world before me, so I decided to use it as an intro for my speech.

And Sir was like ''What is with everyone and dying?" LOL... It was pure coincidence.
I am quite satisfied with my speech this time as I managed to capture the class's and Sir's attention =D They responded well and laughed.

I have mood swings too. I normally do not show if I am unhappy but I just couldn't care less now. I eat less. Now, eating to me is just to fill in my stomach. Simple and fast. That is what I want. I's rather ta pao something than go out for lunch. OMG, what is wrong with me? My mum said it is stress. I think so too. After I reach home from college, it'll be straight to the shower, then dinner, and then ASSignments. No life. Nuff said.

The good news is: It's gonna end soon :)
The bad news is : I have limited time to finals, and yet I have not started studying! :(

I really hate research papers >=/

Before this, I took almost a week to complete my Advanced English research paper (of course, I did procrastinate =X) 2000 words and you have to do research on this and that, distribute questionnaires, draw graphs and type type type :(

And the CITATIONS..OMG! Damn troublesome. It is not even helping that my lecturer is very strict and particular in this. But I have to say that she is a very dedicated and helpful lecturer :)

Fianally finished before the due date n Friday but here comes another one: Human Comm!
Damn...I'm so tired out. I need a break. Ok, this is not hte first time I am saying this LOL

I've always loved Tavia Yeung since she started acting, and I love her to bits when she acted in Moonlight Resonance.
She had been portraying protagonists all this while. So this is her 1st time portraying an antagonist. Can't wait to see how mean and evil she can be.

This is certainly a breakthrough for her as this is her 1st time playing one of the main characters. Hope she'll get a best actress award this year =D

Something happened so suddenly last week, occupying most of my time.

As for my presentations, I was not as nervous as before, but I still gotta work with my confidence and my expression.

Horrigible day

I've mentioned before that my schedule changed. Today is my first Wednesday with the horrible 6 hour break. I was quite positive before, thinking that I could manage it.

There are 15 weeks for this semester. Minus mid-term and final term exams = 13
This is the 3rd week, so that means minus 3 again = 10

10 more weeks!
10 more times of the 6 hour break.
Not so bad is it?

Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. I spent my first few hours watching D.I.E Again (thanks to Yong Wei ^^) But she had class after that, so I studied a bit of CTS. However, I was having trouble concentrating as the corridor was filled with people and noise.
Boring sien gila.
Class ends at 5pm everyday. By the time I reach home after the terrible jam, I am already exhausted.
Crap.
I don't know how long I can handle this.

2 movies in a day + SUCKY timetable

Since my Human Comm replacement class starts at 3pm, I went for a movie with Kah Mun at Mid Valley. There we bumped into Joanna, Li Ying and Elo (they have Human Comm class too). We watched The Ugly Truth and I had to say, although it is like any typical romantic comedy, it wasn't a bad movie. The time wasn't too long, as it will make it 'draggy' and boring. What spiced the movie up is Gerard's sensitive-but-kinda-true sex innuendos. Trust me, you'll laugh your ass out.

I thought we are gonna watch Fawlty Towers in class, but we watched Rat Race instead. The movie was about 8 people chosen from a hotel's casino to race to get $2 million, not knowing that they actually serve as 'horses' in a horse racing gamble for millionaires.

This movie, with Rowen Atkinson staring, is both hilarious and entertaining! I practically LOLed like shit in there. HOWEVER, the video got stuck after watching the movie half away. Bummer. I really wanna know what happens next. Besides, I could do with a little more laughing. I guess the disc is now full with scratches here and there after thea amount of times he played. Wait..is it even original? haha XD

Now it is time for me to complain and lament about my terrible, horrigible timetable. A classmate of mine told me, well actually we, that our english class has been cancelled. Terminated. No more. Whatever. So that means we have to enter other classes. In other words, we may have to change the classes of other subjects as well if the classes clash. T.T

In the end, we have no other choice but to let the admin reschedule our timetable.
And holy crap!! What a lousy timetable! I am not blaming the staff, this only happens as this is last minute and there are no more slots left for other classes.

I finish class at 5pm from Monday to Thursday.
I have 6 FREAKING HOURS of BREAK every Wednesday. Wth am I gonna do there? =.=
And I have only 1 class on Friday.

This SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS!! And it does not help that the 2nd semester is tough. OMG.
Why the hell do they want to cancel the class? Can't they be more considerate? We do not live near to college ya know? Sigh..

Eating has always been a problem for me. That is because I take such a LONG time to finish up my food. I seriously believe that it is because my mouth is small and that I talk too much lol. It is kinda embarrassing and paiseh that my friends have to wait for me to finish =(

I went to Subway for my brunch today. Fulamak! The whole shop smells like cheese. I love cheese, but not the smell.

When the lecturer came in for Critical Thinking Skills class, she asked if anyone brought McD into the class as she smelled food. I only realized then that I smell like cheese all over. Omg! LOL.

Human Comm class requires us to post at least 2 blog postings per week related to Human Comm. I hardly get any inspiration to write, not to mention my own blog. But I did have an idea today as it flashed through my mind suddenly. Eventually I wrote about communication in a family and intrapersonal communications, adding a touch of the story from "The Memory Keeper's Daughter".

I never really like Mondays.

1. It's the 1st day of the college week after having 3 days off.
(No classes on Friday =)
2. I gotta drag myself out of my bed.
3. Classes start at 9.30am and ends at 5pm.
4. 4 subjects.
5. That means I gotta carry FOUR freakin heavy textbooks to college.
*Gosh, it was like 5 years ago since I carried that kinda load to school thanks to the useless
textbooks in high school*
6. I only have a break after 3 classes, my stomach would be flat by then.
7. I can't seem to concentrate in class OMG

Should I give another 3? Perfect 10 lol..

Nah...too lazy =p

Textbooks used in college are known to be thick and expensive. RM80 for one is expensive enough for me. Couldn't imagine the price of the books used in degree :O

All together I've spent around RM225 on the books T.T

Even if I do get to sell it for half price to the juniors, I would still lost 50% >.<

The college better not change to another new edition or I'll seriously....Uurgh!!

There were only 5 students including me in Advanced English today.
3 of them left. Miss Tay considered closing the group.
NO WAY!
I don't want to reschedule my classes. Waste of time and effort wei =(

I woke this morning and thought to myself: Wow. I am 18 lol.

Jumped out of the bed and texted Vee to ask of she is going.

Sadly, she couldn't. Her family are heading to Port Klang for seafood :(

All of us planned to have a Damarian gathering but some couldn't make it.

Hope we can have another one soon.

Ee Von asked me to wait at the Cempaka LRT station.

So I took a train from Bandar Tasik Selatan to Chan Sow Lin then switched to the Ampang rail to Cempaka lol. It's like one big turn.

The person behind the ticket counter even raised an eyebrow when I asked for a ticket to Cempaka =/

I saw Yeng Jye once I reached the station and we waited together for Ee Von and Theresa.
Went to Ee Von's house later to wait for Jerica and Elvira. Ee Von's Shih Tzu dog is such a sweetie =)

After they arrived, we went to Korean Village for Korean BBQ. =D

I LOVE Korean Food!!

Only I enjoy it among my family so it is not enjoyable to eat with them. So that is why, eat with people who enjoy the food =)

Birthday Lunch + movie

I am a bit lazy to post about my birthday now and I don't want it to be a pictureless post, so I'll post it sometime later when I get all the pics from others. =D

Anyway, we watched District 9 after lunch. We thought of watching Orphan at first as we heard it is really scary (you know how hard it is to find really good scary English movies), but the time was not suitable.

I went without reading the synopsis and all I can say is I am not ready for what I am about to face.

This movie is seriously gross to the max, the way they tear the limbs of people easily like tearing paper into shreds. :O

Watching this movie makes me feel soft and squirmy in the insides. :S

Just don't watch this before and after eating trust me.

Another thing about this movie is that it really really REALLY reflects the ugly side of humans. They treat the helpless aliens like monsters or slaves, worse, making them medical experiments. Even a human, the main character is not exempted. Poor guy. This is similar to animal testing and I am totally against it. Seriously, what happened to humanity? Sick! Humans fear what they do not understand, but the true monsters are actually humans themselves.Agree? haha..

p/s: I regretted that I forgot to take more pictures today! Wth. I must be buys eating and chatting. Grrr =.= Anyway, most of the pictures were taken by Theresa. Therefore, I shall have to wait for her to finish her exams and ahem Godknowshow is she going to send it to me lol.

PASSED!!! Amazing gila betul. I am tired of the word failed, trust me, it SUCKS.
Oh, I mean I passed my driving exam. Like finally after waiting for one whole dreadful month for the semester break :(

Learning with the uncle for the past few months had been dreadful. His naggings are like the sound of the annoying mosquito buzzing around your ears. I really felt like squashing it. Pft. It's not just me complaning, others are too. And we all come with the same conclusion: He is a naggy old man. Don't wanna mention the rest. Save him some face =(
At least I don't need to face him anymore. It's over!!
Yea I know, I'm not really good at driving. But hey, I am willing to learn.
Practice makes perfect XD

Before this, I was so anxious and nervous that just thinking of the exam suffocates me and makes it hard to breathe. My God. You can't imagine the euphoria I felt after singing the paper to identify that I have passed. I was SO overwhelmed with excitement and SO relieved. I would have jumped and squeeled if there wasn't anyone there at the moment.
Now I'll just have to wait for my P license :D

Dreams

I had a dream last night. Not that me dreaming is rare, because I dream every night, and often they are all bizarre and absurd. Highly unlikely to happen kind of dreams.

This time it was absolutely different.
The dream was a sweet one.
In it was someone I have not seen for a long time.
An old friend.

In the dream we talked a lot, reminiscing old times.
I was told of a shocking news, yet it was something I've always looked forward to.
Ironic.
Somehow, I wish the dream is real.
The truth is, I miss that friend.

After I woke up, I couldn't recall what we conversed earlier, all I know is we were having a great time. Darn.
It is always so frustrating when I can't recall a nice dream. It is as if the fragments of memory were gone with nothing left for me.

I have always been curious with dreams, how they are generated and if they do have definitions. Some think that they are just meaningless scenes happening in our brain while some other think that each dream carries a different meaning. Perhaps a message from the past or the future?

I was so bored at home that I started to watch old cartoons :D
Seriously, the cartoons those days are WAY better than those on Disney now like *cough*Phineas and Ferb, The Replacements*cough* bla bla
Sorry, I am not up to date with these kind of shows.

Currently watching Gargoyles, one of my favourites when I was a kid. Gosh, this series was aired from 1994-1997. I was only 4 then! lol
No wonder I don't remember the plot but I remember the cartoon haha! Good times, good times.
However, this was banned as the parents think it is too violent? Rubbish! I really pity the kids for what they have now :(

Exams are over, semester break has started, what now?

Since I have finished my finals yesterday, I am done with my first semester.
So I have a 2 week semester break now,
which also happens to be on my birthday week. Awesome!

I always have this frustrating problem.
During exam, I feel like doing and want to do anything under the sun.
But when the exams are over, I do not know what to do and I feel bored,
I would rather go back to college :(

I wanna hang out. Anyone free to give me a ride? =p

Fun after finals

Had Finite Mathematics paper today. The last paper =D
God..the examination room was freaking cold, forgot to bring my jacket :(
As for the paper, there were 5 questions altogether, 12 marks each. The first few questions were ok, I think I could score full marks for those lol. Until 1 question.....

Ish.. I don't understand the question and it was nothing like what the lecturer taught us before. Oh well, fine fine.
Malaysian Studies, don't fail me =[ *fingers crossed*
Computing Principles, gah..hope the results for the final paper is not too bad.

We went to Red Box at The Gardens for karaoke =D
RM10++ for students IF and only IF you are the member. I am =) That I gotta thank my mum for applying for me. Thought it was a waste of time then. Love you mum =D
You can sing from 1pm-6pm, inclusive with 2 drinks each. How awesome is that?
BUT there is a catch, you have to pay for 2 bowls of tidbits which costs RM9 EACH. Wth? =.=
Freaking expensive. In the end, after dividing, you have to pay RM18.40 each.

We sang a lot of songs from rock to punk to emotional classic songs. In the end, we lost our voice haha =p
Seriously, next time we gotta go with a bunch of people. That will be more fun and we won't end up so tired after singing too many songs.
Maybe I can do it on my birthday haha! I wonder if they have any special package for occasions like this hmm...

Oh btw, I LOVE that place. The entire corridor is filled with full-length mirrors. Great for camwhoring :) Even the tiles are reflective. Well, kinda lol. Can't blame the cleaners who loves to face the mirrors while they mop the floor =p We forgot to take pictures as we were too busy singing. Next time :(

The night before, I spent my whole night (well...almost lol) preparing for my oral presentation.

I managed to memorize them in the end but it was still kinda shaky.
Thinking of continuing it the next day, I went to sleep. *yawns*

Before presentation:

Woke up early so that I could have enough time to dress up and apply some make up. =p
Rushed to college.
Maths class, Study Skills and then only English at 2pm =(
Imagine how restless I was the whole day before the presentation.
Oh yea, did I mention that my feet freaking hurts from the heels? It's my mum's btw as I did not have the time to get another pair. Hers was a little too big so she gave it to me.
No thanks, I'm gonna get a new one. =D

During presentation:

I was the 2nd to present. During my turn, I started to feel kinda nervous as I prepare my things and my slides. My hands were a little shaky when I clicked to start the slide show D:
I took a deep breathe and faced the audience. Whoa! Everyone was so quiet and staring at me @__@ *gulps*
They were very supportive though, those close to me sat at the front to give me encouragement and mental support. Thanks a lot! I love you guys <3

My title was How to Pack for A Holiday Trip.
Haha...I know. Does not sound so interesting right? =p
Anyway, I did not bring a luggage bag. For God's sake, it is so bulky and heavy =(
Instead, I brought toiletries, cosmetics, small bags, T-shirts and pants to show the class. I even demonstrated how to roll up T-shirts and fold pants =D
My voice trembled a little, but I managed to control and minimize it haha..
However, I was so nervous that my expression stoned o.O Did not manage to smile much :(
And because I was kinda nervous, I blurted everything out and quickly ended my presentation. I think I finished mine in less than 5 minutes. (We were given max 5 mins) *oops*
Nevertheless, my friends said I presented well so I hope I really did ok. At least 90/100? hehe...
Other presentations were really good too. There was cheer, Taekwando, origami demonstration. But I liked the bomb one best :D
Fred taught us how to make explosive and smoke bombs using ping pong balls and matches. Cool :D

A very random post

As the title suggests, this is just a random post of random people and of course, random pictures I took lately.

The Malaysian Studies students held a cultural event on the Thursday before the last Thursday and people were doing henna. I did it out of fun and voila! Looks nice ^^

The Silly Valley Outing:

Vee was sticking plaster on her legs as it was aching from the heels.

After much ss camwhoring, we went to San Terri for cakes. My treat =D Wee..
She ordered New York Cheese while I ordered Mocha something. I forgot haha.
She savagely devoured it before I get to take a pic. Greedy Vee. XP

The deco of the board is simple yet lovely. Not overdoing it.

Have you ever been in a situation when you are talking to someone but words somehow seemed so hard to come out? You become speechless and weird things started blurting out from that stupid mouth of yours?
Urgh! I feel like such a retard in those situations. I look so dumb saying those things, where the hell is my brain? Oh yea, it is currently not working, I forgot. Me bad D:
It may seem like I am an insensitive, boring person, but that is not the case.
Well, at least I hope not. =/
I don't want this to happen, but sometimes it is hard to control. I really don't want to.

2 more weeks to the finals yet I am so not ready for it. Somehow after the mid term, I lost my motivation to study (not saying that I am always motivated). I just don't have the mood to. So many things are going on in my mind and with the stress from assignments and quizzes, I'm gonna break down soon.
I am suffering from fatigue due to lack of sleep and am always so tired in college.
I can't concentrate in class and tend to let my mind wander off when I shouldn't be.
I am losing my mind :(
Other stuffs kept bugging me and I can't put those thoughts away.
Besides that, I am SUPER addicted to Facebook and would always go online when I am supposed to do my work. Wth =.=

Gosh!! This is killing me! I need a break. Right now, my only source of motivation is the 2 week semester break after the finals. Guess I am gonna use that time to reorganize my messed up life and think things through. I seriously need to reconsider if certain things are worth my attention now that it is slowly eating me up or should I just give up.

What an emo post. Pfft.

I've never really been a fan of Colbie Caillat, and to be honest, I never really like her. Especially her song "Bubbly", I disliked it (no offense to her fans though). Maybe it was because of the amount of times I heard it on the radio that I grew bored of it =(

Silly Valley Outing

We finally could make it for the outing, after much obstacles however :( Online reservations and phone booking stated that the showtimes for HP at the afternoon were all fully booked. Therefore, i had to rush to Mid Valley to get the tickets.

OH-MY-GOD. When I reached there, the queue was so long that it went around the ring. :O I had no choice but to queue up. Pfft. Vee came a while later and we waited for our turn. All the tickets were for 2pm, 2.30pm, 3.30pm and 5.10pm were sold out!! Scary! That in demand meh? Fine, we could watch Public Enemies.

The man: "It's 18 and above. Are you girls 18 and above?"
I looked at him and thought, 'Excuse me? Do I look below 18 to you? I look freakin old okay?' LOLS..sounded so bitchy XP On second thoughts, Vee looks young. So... In the end, I just smiled and said of course. He told us that we need our IC our any documentation to prove that we are 18 and above. And Vee did not bring her IC, driving license and student ID. Hello? Youa re 18 and you do not bring your documents out? o.O
Pfft...sad la. In the end, we left the counter empty handed.
No Harry Potter, no movie for today.
Bummer.
On the bright side, we could use the time to catch with each other's life haha.

We went for lunch at Carl's Junior. Ironically, I swore that I would not touch fast food this week anymore after getting sick of weekly McDs. The calories and all + the fact that I LACK exercise :( Again, its okay X) Hey, at least we shared haha..

Since we did not get to watch the movie, we had hours to spend in Mid Valley. Both of us did not feel like shopping and that was when Vee suggested to camwhore haha. We found a toilet with a full length mirror and took a lot of pictures. But it ended up getting kinda awkward as there were people in there. *embarrassed*

Then she suggested to take pictures in the fitting room. Not bad not bad. That way we have all the privacy we wanted and we get to try out clothes as well haha. We went to Topshop and Miss Selfridge. While we were camwhoring in the dressing room in Miss Selfridge, we heard a woman who sounded really alike Puan Raja Faziatul. O.O I wonder if it was really her. Would be funny to bump into her at Miss Selfridge. You know what I mean ;)

Anyway, we did a lot of poses. Some came out weird and funny, while some were nice ^^ Gawd, never in my life have I posed these poses haha.. It is fun though...once in a while hehe..

I want Harry!!

Although all the previous Harry Potter series has disappointed me, I am still willing to watch the latest installment: Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince.

Being a loyal fan of Harry Potter, watching the movie is like an annual ritual, a tradition. It somehow completes the Harry Potter obsession in me. Besides, not watching the movie is like you are living under a rock.

Of course, I love the books WAY better than the movies. They are much more descriptive and the best part is, YOU imagine how you want the scene and the situation to be. When reading the book, YOU are the director, the characters and the background. This trains your imagination and sharpens your creativity. The movie however, limits all these and only brings disappointment and frustration. Face it, they can't live up to my high expectations and wild imaginations LOL XD
Of course, the scriptwriters can't be blamed entirely as the book IS freaking THICK. The thicker the better for me though. But at least don't change the facts :(

I have made plans with Vee to watch the movie tomorrow, but the plan is not confirmed yet. Whoa...If I am not mistaken, we haven't seen each other for like 3 months?? And everytime we make plans to hang out, we will ALWAYS face obstacles, not excluding this time. So tragic. Here I am, waiting for her confirmation :(

God, I pray that we could make it tomorrow. Pleasshh. I would be VERY BUSY the next week and God knows when is the next time we could meet again. Therefore, I beg you please unite us.

I did not re-read the book like what I will normally do so I hope the movie won't be that bad for me. Gahh....Theresa, I want my books back :)

As I lurve shopping, what better excuse to go shop shop? LOL. :P
It was Mid Valley again. Gosh, I am getting so bored of this place. Gonna change locations next time. However, mum likes MV, what can I do?

Most of the shops have discounts and bargains. Walao!! O.O
My main purpose to shop was to find a pair of slacks for my oral presentation. Don't know why, my sister and mum ended up shopping more while I tagged along. And they say I am a shopaholic!! =.=

My legs hurt after the endless walking. I thank God that I did not wear my heels today. Or I can kiss my legs goodbye :( *ouch*
Here, I salute those amazing women who walks around the whole day in those killer heels.

I was in pain, hungry and tired. My eyes are so dry beacuse of the ac. Grrr....
At least, I managed to get my slacks. No last minute shopping haha..

We (me, Kah Mun, Esther, Samuel, Aaron and Nigel..just nice:3 guys and 3 gals lol) watched Ice Age 3 at Mid Valley yesterday. Saw a lot of HELP students too. Friday break :D

The movie was freakin fah-nayy. Best for the days when you are feeling sad and blue. The first and second movie did not fail me. So did the latest installment :)
Maybe they should consider making the fourth movie.

We laughed like idiots in there. I seriously believe that we were the loudest lmao! We were all busy laughing (went out of breath eventually) when Nigel yawned out of a sudden. o.O
Apparently, he laughed too hard until he got a migraine..poor thing.
On the other hand, me and Aaron ended up in tears *sniff sniff*

The guys were hungry after the movie and after a LONG and meaningless discussion, we headed for Domino's. My stomach was already half filled with popcorn x) Ate almost half of the large size popcorn...me gosh. We spent most of our time taking pictures after lunch. Unfortuantely, not all of the shots turn out well. Some of them are with Nigel. Waiting for him to upload..pshh
